Atlanta vs. Redwater

On Friday, Sept. 1, the Rabbits host Redwater for a meeting with the Dragons.

From what I’ve found the teams have only played nine times since 1994 with Atlanta winning all nine by a point total of 426 to19. The Rabbs won last year’s scrum 28-0.

Last week the Rabbs won in fine fashion as they overwhelmed Elysian Fields 51-6. Redwater opened its season with a solid 44-40 win over Waskom. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Linden-Kildare at Alba-Golden On Thursday, Aug. 31, Linden-Kildare travel to play Alba-Golden.

This will be the second meeting of all-time between these two programs. L-K fell to Alba-Golden last season.

Linden-Kildare lost to Ore City last week and Alba- Golden torched Detroit 56-0 to open its season.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Queen City vs. New Boston

Queen City at New Boston On Friday, Sept. 1, Queen City hosts New Boston for another meeting with the Lions.

The two teams have been playing one another since 1953 and the Lions have a 19-14 series lead.

New Boston has won the past nine meetings.

Last week the Bulldogs opened the season with a 26-18 win over Rivercrest.

New Boston on the other hand lost its season opener 41-0 to Jefferson. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
