McLeod, L-K basketball earns All-District honors

McLeod and Linden-Kildare girls’ basketball players earned All-District honors which were released last week.

McLeod Head Coach Casey Schubert was named Coach of the Year, Gracie Lance was named district MVP and Co-Defensive MVP honors went to Kaitlyn Cross and Ella Lambeth.

Cary May and Sibbie Comer earned First Team honors, Stormy Johnson and Chassie Gryder earned Second Team honors and Honorable Mention credits went to Rielyn Schubert, Regan Johnson and Kenslee Cross. Academic All-District players were: Come, May, S. Johnson, Lance, Lambeth, R. Johnson, Schubert and Kenslee Cross.

Linden-Kildare’s Hannah Brown notched First Team honors, Madi Bynum and Leah Brown earned Second Team honors and Honorable Mention players were: Madi Ebarb, Rylee Burns, Sydney Hampton and Kaycee Neville. Academic All-District players were: H. Brown, L. Brown, Angelyna Meggs, Bynum, Hampton, Burns and Ebarb.
