Linden-Kildare Tigers, Lady Tigers golf teams win district titles

Early Thursday morning on Mar. 31, the Linden-Kildare golf program teed off in the District 16-2A tournament. Both teams competed very well and walked away as district champions. Not only did both teams win a district championship, L-K also had the girls’ and boys’ individual district champion.
Jonathan Owen took first place on the boys’ side and Allie Smallwood took first for the girls.
Dylan Stanley finished in third place and Kyndal Fitts finished in second place. Kyler Fitts, Tae’shun Mitchell, Presley Turner and Allie Watson all had a good day as well. Both teams have qualified for the Regional golf tournament in Ferris, Texas.
