Linden-Kildare’s varsity girls’ track team competed in the Texas High Invitational on Mar. 28.

The Lady Tigers rolled up 135 points in the process.

In the 100m dash Carley hays placed sixth at 14.52; in the 200m dash Summer Gibson placed third at 27.73; in the 100m hurdles Maggee Winters placed first at 18.19 and Jacee Quaid placed second at 19.43; in the 300m hurdles Winters placed first at 53.30 and Quaid placed fourth at 54.60; in the 800m run Lily Snowden placed fifth at 3:09.00 and Kaitlynn Sheltrow placed sixth at 3:31.48 and in the 1600m run Snowden placed fourth at 7:21.00.

The 4x100m relay team of Gibson, Madi Bynum, Kalissa Roberts and Jamiah Birmingham placed third at 51.59; the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed second at 1:47.26 and the 4x400m relay team of Winters, Bynum, Roberts and Birmingham placed second at 4:24.37.

In long jump Birmingham placed first at 16 feet, 10 1/2 inches; in triple jump Birmingham placed second at 35 feet even; in discus Riley Burns placed fourth with a toss of 86 feet, 5 inches and Nili Patel placed sixth at 84 feet, 10 inches, in shot Charington Taylor placed fourth with a heave of 29 feet, 9 inches and Devonna Linwood placed fifth at 29 feet, 6 inches and in pole vault Winters placed first at 7 feet, 6 inches and Sheltrow placed third at 5 feet even.
