Lee to fight at UFC 262
Andrea Lee has been tabbed to fight on the UFC 262 card against Antonina Shevchenko May 15, in Houston. Lee (11-5) is ranked as the No. 12 best female flyweight and Shevchenko (9-2) is No. 13, and both fighters are versed well in Muay Thai which makes this one to watch.
Shevchenko opened up her UFC pro career by reeling off 10 straight wins. Her last bout was a win back in November of last year.
In her first 13 fights as a pro, Lee was 11-2 with one of those losses being a split decision.
Lee has lost her last three bouts, two by split decision, but looks to work her way back into the win column in May.
Lee amassed one of the most accomplished combat sports careers of any female fighter in the world with a combined combat sports record of 36-6. She is a three-time amateur world Muay Thai champ, a two-time North American champ and has countless MMA titles.
She is also a National Golden Gloves Boxing Champ and a two-time Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World champ.
