Lee to face Modafferi in Las Vegas Sept. 12

Hometown fighter Andrea Lee has agreed to a Sept. 12, bout in Lads Vegas with an opponent she’s fought before.

Lee will face Roxanne Modafferi in a highly anticipated women’s flyweight matchup.

Lee (11-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and Modafferi (24-17 MMA, 3-4 UFC) fought back in 2014, with Modafferi winning a split decision at Invicta FC 10.

Lee is hoping to snap a two-fight losing streak in the process. She won her first three outings in fine fashion, but dropped back-to-back split decisions to Joanne Calderwood and Lauren Murphy.

Lee has been training hard and could springboard back into high-profile fight opportunities with a win on Sept. 12.
