Lady Tigers place first

Linden-Kildare’s varsity girls’ track program hosted the Bill Hines Relays Mar. 11, and placed first overall.

In the 100m dash Rylee Burns ran a 15.09 for third place; in the 200m dash Madi Bynum ran a 28.06 for second place, Ashtin Patterson ran a 28.60 for third place and Rylee Burns ran a 33.07 for sixth place and in the 400m dash Haylee Salazar ran a 1:19.24 and finished sixth.

In the 800m run Cayton Osborne ran a 2:55.66 for fourth place; in the 1600m run Hailey Lane ran a 7:56.50 for fourth place; in the 3200m run Hailey Lane ran a 17:36.22 for second place; in the 100m hurdles Kendall Wells ran a 17.94 for first place and in the 300m hurdles Kendall Wells ran a 56.50 for first place and Cayton Osborne ran a 58.42 for fourth place.

The 4x100m relay of Angelyna Meggs, Madi Bynum, Kendall Wells and Ashtin Patterson ran a 53.59 for second place; the 4x200m relay team of Angelyna Meggs, Haylee Salazar, Madi Bynum and Ashtin Patterson ran a 1:57.09 for second place and the 4x400m relay team of Angelyna Meggs, Haylee Salazar, Rylee Burns and Cayton Osborne ran a 4:58.38 for third place.

In the long jump event

Kendall Wells placed second with a mark of 13 feet, 9 1/2 inches, Ashtin Patterson placed fifth with a mark of 13 feet 1/2 inch and Angelyna Meggs placed sixth with a mark of 12 feet, 9 1/2 inches, and in the triple jump Ashtin Patterson placed second with a leap of 29 feet, 10 inches, Angelyna Meggs placed third at 29 feet, 5 inches and Madi Bynum placed fourth at 27 feet, 8 inches.

In the shot put Hayley Mason tossed 29 feet, 11 inches for first place, LaSonya Nard placed second with a heave of 29 feet, 7 inches and Maddy Ebarb placed sixth at 25 feet, 5 inches; in pole vault Kendall Wells cleared 8 feet even for first place and in discus LaSonya Nard placed second with a toss of 72 feet even, Rylee Burns threw 69 feet, 1/2 inches for fourth place and Maddy Ebarb placed fifth at 66 feet, 10 1/2 inches.
