Lady Rabbs win third round,fall in fourth
On Nov. 8, the Lady Rabbs met up with county rival Hughes Springs in the third round of the state playoffs or as properly known the Regional Quarterfinals.
The match was tight throughout but the Lady Rabbs claimed another crown after topping the Lady Mustangs in three sets, 25-20-, 25-23, 2521.
Kaylon Partain had 31 digs and two kills, Carlajah Adger added 12 digs and one ace, Annemarie Hanner posted 19 assists, two aces and five digs, Rylie Pattillo recorded 17 assists, five digs and one kill, Kym Sheppard had 16 kills and three blocks, Amaya Young had nine kills and two blocks, Jaliyah Brown added six kills and Makaylin King had five kills and one block.
Atlanta played Rains in the Regional Semifinals on Nov. 11, and bowed out of the playoffs with its first loss since August.
