Lady Rabbs boost district volleyball record to 7-1

On Oct. 3, the Lady Rabbs’ varsity volleyball squad swept Paul pewit in three sets by scores of 25-11, 2624, 25-19.

Kym Sheppard had eight kills and five blocks, Ma’Kaylin King had six kills and nine points, Jaliyah Brown added six kills with nine points, Ziza Garcia posted nine points, AnneMarie Hanner and Carlajah Adger each had six points and Aysia Heard had seven blocks.

With the win the Lady Rabbs upped its district record to 6-1.

On Oct. 6, the Lady Rabbits ran its district record to 7-1 with a sweep of Redwater by scores of 25-16, 25-11, 25-21.

AnneMarie Hanner and Madison McCoy both put up 11 points, Ziza Garcia and Jaliyah brown had eight points apiece and Carlajah Adger added seven.

Brown also had nine kills, Kym Sheppard added six, Garcia posted three aces and Ma’Kaylin King had two aces.
