Lady Longhorns litter All-District list

McLeod’s girls’ basketball squad notched another memorable season after winning back-to-back district championships and bolting into the playoffs.

For that reason the Lady Longhorns earned 16-2A All-District honors.

Senior baller Ella Lambeth was the overall MVP, junior Chassie Gryder earned 6th Man honors and Head Coach Casey Schubert was named Coach of the Year.

Juniors Rielyn Schubert and Regan Johnson picked up First Team honors, sophomore Kenslee Cross earned First Team honors, senior Stormy Johnson earned Second Team honors and junior Jaci Armstrong earned Honorable Mention honors.

Players who earned All-Academic honors were: Peyton Johnson, Stormy Johnson, Ella Lambeth, Jaci Armstrong, Andrea Bertrand, Chassie Gryder, Regan Johnson, Reagan Mitchell, Sarah Ragland, Rielyn Schubert, Kenslee Cross and freshman manager Anna DeBeaux.
