Lady Bulldogs litter All-District list

Queen City’s varsity girls’ basketball team bolted into the playoffs and won both Bi-District and Area titles.

The Lady Bulldogs were just four points shy of advancing to the next round against state-ranked Tatum who entered the Regional Quarterfinals with a record of 29-1.

With a solid season under their belts the Lady Bulldogs earned 14-3A All-District awards for their efforts.

Lauren Carrell was named Offensive MVP and Mallori Stringer earned the 6th Man Award.

Serenity Oden, Jamecia Cook and Trinity Oden took home First Team honors, Brooklyn Garner took home Second Team honors and Honorable Mention players were Paitynn Weeks, Dori Sasser and Jenna Lavoie.

Academic All-District honors went to the Oden sisters, Stringer, Carrell, Weeks and Sasser.
