Linden-Kildare hosted James Bowie last Friday night at Jack Hetherington-Tiger Stadium.
The CISD closed down last week and that included the Tigers’ matchup with DeKalb.
L-K was looking for a win after close games with both Queen City and Clarksville.
The Tigers outdistanced the Pirates in almost every facet of the game, but the Pirates took advantage of turnovers and miscues and went on to win 24-9.
L-K rolled up 261 total yards including Jay Birmingham’s 133 on the ground.
Jackson Lee scored the only touchdown of the night for L-K.
The Tigers travel to Hawkins this Friday night with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m.
