L-K Power competes at Texas High
Linden-Kildareās powerlifting program competed in its first meet of the year at the FCA Liftoff hosted by Texas High.
The meet consisted of 300-plus lifters from 2A-6A. The boys represented Linden-Kildare to their utmost best by setting some personal records.
Michael Lane competed in the 132-pound class. He finished tied for third place but his weight got the better of him and it put him in fourth place.
Lane set new Personal Records in the squat (350), bench press (180) and deadlift (350), with a total of 880 pounds. He is currently first in his regional class.
Aidan Hernandez lifted in the 181-pound weight class. This was his first meet ever and he finished in seventh place out of 23 lifters.
He set new Personal Records in squat (400), bench (185) and deadlift (385) for a total of 970 pounds.
He is currently sitting in fourth place in the region.
