L-K Lady Tigers, Coach James Allen receive heartfelt All-District honors

Linden-Kildare’s varsity girls’ basketball team experienced the worst pain when a tragic accident took the lives of two of its in the season.

Through it all the Lady Tigers, led by Coach James Allen, dressed out, took the court and played ball.

As of the All-District meeting Coach Allen was named Coach of the Year and both Shantey Hawkins and Adryanna Hawkins received First Team honors.

Senior Peyton Turner earned Second Team honors and players named to the Honorable Mention list were: Priscilla Rhyne, LaSonya Nard and Haylee Salazar.

Players who made the Academic Honors list were: Peyton Turner, Kendall Wells, Angelyna Meggs, Madison Ebarb, Sydney Hampton and Nevaeh Arnold.
