Junior Lady Wildcats place first in Bloomburg basketball tournament

The Bloomburg Junior High Lady Wildcats took first place in the Bloomburg Tournament last week by defeating Linden-Kildare and McLeod.
The girls took on L-K in the first game and came away with a, 43-20, victory. Cassie Glasgow led the way with 25 points, while Jacee Glasgow scored 10 and Tori Clayton added eight.
The girls clinched first place by defeating McLeod in the second game, 57-14. Jacee Glasgow paced the team with 23 points while Cassie Glasgow added 19 and Tori Clayton scored 16.
The team moved to (9-0) on the season and will travel to Avery this Thursday before playing in the Atlanta Tournament next Saturday.
