Henderson State announces 2021 homecoming royalty candidates

Homecoming activities at Henderson State University begin Oct. 13, when the Reddies’ student body begins voting for Henderson’s 2021 homecoming royalty. Twenty-two students are nominated for the homecoming court.

The 10 finalists will be announced Oct. 14, during the annual homecoming pep rally and bonfire. The court will be introduced and the crowning will take place during football pre-game festivities on Oct. 16, when the Reddies host Harding University.

Of the 20 vying for Queen one of those is Atlanta’s own Rheannon Howell who is a junior Journalism major and is sponsored by Tau Beta Sigma. She is a drum major for the Showband of Arkansas and the historian for Kappa Kappa Psi.
