Atlanta’s baseball team has been rolling of late.
After beginning the season 0-5 the Rabbits have won 11 of their last 12 games.
The Rabbs beat Paul Pewitt, 1-0, back on Mar. 16, with Randall Mason pitching a complete game with three hits scattered over seven innings of work with 10 strikeouts.
Atlanta then topped Hooks, 3-2, Mar. 19, behind Kelby Smith’s eight strikeout performance.
Smith gave up two runs off six hits and both Nick Burden and Cooper McClure had multiple hits in the contest.
Atlanta battled county rival Queen City Mar. 23, and won the contest, 5-4, after scoring two runs late in the game.
Dylan Spears and Randall Mason combined for nine strikeouts and Nick Burden blasted two doubles from the plate.
The Rabbs slammed Redwater, 22-2, Mar. 26, as Kelby Smith, Cooper McClure and Jackson Warren combined for seven Ks and two hits in a game called after four innings.
Atlanta beat DeKalb, 11-0, Mar. 30, in a 1-hit masterpiece pitched by Kelby Smith.
Smith gave up just one hit over five innings with 12 Ks.
The Rabbits defeated New Boston, 5-1, Apr. 2, with Randall Mason pitching a complete game.
Mason scattered four hits over seven innings with three Ks.

Linden-Kildare’s baseball team steamrolled Maud, 11-0, in a mercy-ruled contest Apr. 2.
The Tigers scored two runs in the top of the second frame but blew the game wide open with six runs in the fourth inning and three runs in the fifth.
The game was called in the fifth stanza on the mercy-rule.
Mason Johnson pitched a 2-hit shutout over five innings with five strikeouts and one walk.
Jackson Lee was a beast from the dish as he slammed two 3-run homers over the fence. Lee finished 2-for-4 with six RBIs.
Johnson added a double and three ribbies in his 2-for-4 evening, Clayton Mulkey had a double and a single in the contest, Colt Neville was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, Colton Anderson was 2-for-4 and Jonathan Owen was 3-for-3.
Bloomburg
The Bloomburtg Lady Wildcats defeated Maud Apr. 2, with a 17-7 score in the fifth inning.
Corinne Ray led the team with six runs and went 3-5 at the plate. Ray drove in runs on a double and a grand slam in the fifth inning and a single in the sixth.
The Lady Wildcats totaled 11 hits. Ray, Kaleigh Glasgow and Katlen McKinnie all managed multiple hits for the team.
Each player had at least one RBI and the Lady ’Cats ended their week with two wins.
