Bulldog lifters qualify for Regionals

Eight Bulldog powerlifting members (six lifters, two alternates) qualified to represent Queen City High School in the 3A, Division 3 THSPA Regional Powerlifting meet this Friday, Mar. 10, in Arp.

The lifters who qualified are Delvon Federick - fifth Place in the Region 3, Division 3 - 181 Class, Kaden Fincher - seventh Place in the Region 3, Division 3 - 165 Class, Daniel Jones - ninth Place in the Region 3, Division 3 - 275 Class, Christian Nard - 10th Place in the Region 3, Division 3 - 181 Class, Thomas (TJ) Guest - 11th Place in the Region 3, Division 3 - 132 Class and Kameron Wright - 12th Place in the Region 3, Division 3 - 242 Class.

Alternates that will also attend: (top 12 will compete) are Caleb Kimble - 14th place in the Region 3, Division 3 - 123 Class and Kordell Federick - 18th place in the Region 3, Division 3 - 181 Class.

Some impressive numbers for the lifters include: Delvon Federick - Squat - 485 pounds, Bench - 260 pounds and Deadlift - 555 pounds; Kaden Fincher - Squat - 475 pounds, Bench - 245 pounds and Deadlift - 415 pounds; Daniel Jones Squat - 575 pounds, Bench - 305 pounds and Deadlift - 520 pounds; Christian Nard - Squat - 460 pounds, Bench - 245 pounds and Deadlift - 475 pounds; TJ Guest - Squat - 315 pounds, Bench - 195 pounds and Deadlift - 315 pounds; Kameron Wright - Squat - 520 pounds, Bench - 340 pounds and Deadlift - 430 pounds; Caleb Kimble - Squat - 275 pounds, Bench - 140 pounds and Deadlift - 315 pounds; and Kordell Federick - Squat - 405 pounds, Bench - 230 pounds and Deadlift - 385 pounds.
