Erica Jaquelyn Lavoie
is the daughter of Eric and Barbara Lavoie of Bloomburg, Texas. Erica has one sibling, Jenna Lavoie. Erica is the granddaughter of Jack and Cecile Lavoie of Syracuse, New York; David Browe of Ithaca, New York as well as Barbara Browe of Webster, Florida. Erica is the parliamentarian of the student council and received the DAR award. Erica is a member of the girls’ varsity basketball team as well as the varsity track and field and cross country team and softball team. She also participates in the one act play club. Erica plans to attend college and major in medicine or education. In Erica’s spare time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and playing sports. She is also a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Bloomburg, Texas.
Karli Faith Sheffield is the daughter of Chad and Melanie Sheffield. Karli is the granddaughter of David and Becky Sheffield of Bloomburg, Texas and Bobby and Ernestine Stout of Cass, Texas. Karli is a member of the BHS Lady Wildcat varsity basketball team and the manager of the BHS varsity softball team. She was voted class representative for the BHS student council and was an usher at the eighth grade completion ceremony. Karli plans to attend Baylor University and earn a bachelor’s degree in pre-med. After getting her undergraduate degree, she plans to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. Along with her career, Karli would like to get married one day and start a family. In Karli’s spare time she enjoys hanging out with her friends, going shopping and being active in her youth group at Glad Tidings Church in Atlanta, Texas
Katie Jean Mote is the daughter of Doug Mote of Bloomburg, Texas and Barbara Mote of Queen City, Texas. She has six siblings, Austin and Sarah Mote, Kennedy, Trumann, Scarlett and Madelaine Nuget. Katie is the granddaughter of Garnet and Jane Norwood of Texarkana, Texas; Roxann Mote and the late Clyde Mote of Bullard, Texas. Katie has been a member of the varsity basketball team and the varsity softball team for two years. She has also been a member of leadership for two years. Katie attends New Hope Baptist Church in Bloomburg, Texas. Katie plans on attending Southern Methodist University to earn a degree in engineering and then pursue a law degree from Baylor University. In Katie’s spare time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family. She loves eating Taco Bell, taking naps and proving people wrong. She also likes to decorate and buy bubbles everything he wants.
Kassidy Michelle Warlick
is the daughter of Michael Warlick from Cass, Texas and Gwendolyn Warlick of Linden, Texas. She has two siblings, Ashley Sullivan and James Warlick. Kassidy is the granddaughter of Mary Hill from Cass, Texas and the late Leon Hill of Springdale, Texas and Charles Warlick of Cass, Texas. Kassidy is a sophomore and has been a member of the BHS varsity softball team for two years. She served as a member of the 2019 Regional Finalist one act play club and attends First Baptist in Bloomburg, Texas. Kassidy plans to attend Henderson State University and earn a bachelor’s degree in education. She also plans to earn a certification in cosmetology at Texarkana College. In Kassidy’s spare time she enjoys hanging out with friends, doing make-up and sleeping, A LOT.
Braylee Ashlyn Harrist
is the daughter of Daniel and Rebecca Jackson of Bloomburg, Texas and Jared and Michelle Harrist of Bloomburg, Texas. Braylee has two younger brothers, Keller and Kase Jackson, an older brother, Dylan Harrist, and three step brothers, Wyatt, Rodger and Justin heard. Braylee is the granddaughter of Billy and Mary Bray of Bloomburg, Texas, Louis and Sherry Sullivan of Doddridge, Arkansas, the late Nita Jackson of Doddridge, Arkansas, and the late Marry Harrist of Queen City, Texas. Braylee has been a member of the varsity Lady Wildcat basketball team for three years, varsity softball for three years and ran cross country her freshman year advancing to regionals. She has been a member of FFA for three years and participates in leadership. She is a member of the First Baptist church in Bloomburg, Texas and is active in their youth group. Braylee plans to attend Texas A&M Texarkana to pursue a career in dental hygiene. In Braylee’s spare time she enjoys hanging out with her best friend Zoe and learning how to be a cowgirl. She also enjoys hanging out with her best guy friends, Rosendo and Steven, and eating Chinese food. Braylee likes spending time riding backroads while enjoying beautiful weather with her friends.
Zoe Scott is the daughter of Crystal and Robert Covington of Atlanta, Texas and Barry Scott of Longview, Texas. Zoe has three siblings, Tatum, Baylee and Madyx Covington. Zoe is the granddaughter of Greg and Sherrie Fitts of Linden, Texas, and Don and Charleen Covington of Pineville, Louisiana. She
has been a member of the Varsity softball team for two years, ran cross country one year and was involved in FFA for three years, she is also a member of the Trinity Church in Texarkana, Texas. Zoe plans on graduating high school a year early and then specializing in equine dentistry and chiropractic work. Zoe enjoys all hobbies and activities involving horses. In her spare time she enjoys roping and working cows with her stepdad, except when it results in a broken nose. She also loves hanging out and teaching her best friend, Braylee Harrist, how to rope and be a cowgirl. Hog hunting is one of her favorite things to do, especially racing to the bay. On Sundays, Wednesdays and the occasional Friday, Zoe likes to spend her time at her church worshipping God and fellowshipping.
Madison Paige Clayton
is the daughter of Michael and Ali Clayton of Atlanta, Texas. She has two siblings, Trey and Tori Clayton. Madison is the granddaughter of the late Jack Epperson, Kathy and Tim James of Bloomburg, Texas; Virgil and Dorothy Ternado of Atlanta, Texas. Madison has been a member of the varsity tennis team for four years, two of those year as a district champ. She has been a part of the National Honors Society for three years, a yearbook editor for three years, one act play member for two years and a varsity basketball player for two years. Madison plans on attending college and pursing a degree in psychology while being a collegiate tennis athlete. She is an active member of the New Hope Baptist Church youth group in Bloomburg, Texas. In Madison’s spare time she likes to practice photography, play tennis and hang out with her friends and family.
Haleigh Myranda Greer
is the daughter of Rickey and Michele Compton of Bloomburg, Texas and Jeff Greer of Smithland, Texas. She has four siblings, Jolie Greer, Carley Castagnetta, R.J Greer and Ethan Compton. Haleigh is the granddaughter of Joseph and Donna Castagnetta of Monroe, Louisiana and Barry and Carilee Greer of Katy, Texas. Haleigh has been a member of the one act play club for four years, two of those years advancing to area. She was awarded Honorable mention all-star. She has played tennis for three year, advancing to regionals two years and named district champ last year. Haleigh has been a member of the National Honor Society for four years, cheered and preformed as mascot for three years. She had the opportunity to perform as our BHS mascot during the halftime show at the Citrus Bowl last year. She is also an active member of the New Hope Baptist church in Bloomburg, Texas. Haleigh plans to attend Harding University and major in psychology with an emphasis on neuropsychology. In Haleigh’s spare time she enjoys watching the office, hanging out with her Bloomburg and Linden friends, reading her bible and attending church and church camps. Haleigh also enjoys volunteering as a counselor and playing her guitar and ukulele.
Haylea Breanne Pond is the daughter of Jason and Barbara Pond of Bloomburg, Texas. She has two siblings, Jaysi and Bryleigh Pond. Haylea is the granddaughter of Larry and Rhonda Blake of Bloomburg, Texas and the late Bill and Margret Perry of Bloomburg, Texas. Haylea has been a member of the
varsity basketball team for three years, varsity softball for four years, one year in which the team was named 2019 regional finalist. Haylea plans to attend Tyler junior college to earn an associate’s degree in a medical related field and play softball as a collegiate athlete. Then she would like to further her education in sonography courses to fulfill her dream of becoming an ultrasound technician. Once Haylea finishes with her education she would like to then grow up a little more and then start a family of her own one day. In Haylea’s spare time she enjoys playing softball, hanging out with friends and family and going to church to spend time with the Lord so she can grow closer to Him.
