LINDEN-KILDARE

On Mar. 4, the Lady Tigers lost a heartbreaker contest against Maud by a score of 16-13.

Linden-Kildare tied the game up at 12-all with a 4-run fifth frame but Maud plated four runs the rest of the way to seal the victory.

From the dish, Lynlee LeJeune was 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI, Jacee Quaid added a single, Olivia Stewart had two hits with two ribbies, Allie Jo Dixon posted three hits with two doubles and three RBIs, Ja’maiya Mack hit two singl4es with two RBIs, Kalysa Roberts added two ribeyes, Brooklyn Bynum had two hits and Zaliyah Mitchell had one.

ATLANTA SOFTBALL

On Mar. 4, the Lady Rabbits were upset 6-4 by Redwater in district play. Redwater had a 5-1 lead until Atlanta closed the gap with a 3-run fifth.

The Lady Dragons added an insurance run in the seventh and held the Lady Rabbs at bay from the dish in the bottom half to win the game.

Carlajah Adger had two hits with a homerun and four RBIs, Anna Davis added a double and both Gabby Petrofsky and Lakeyn Wooten hit singles.

ATLANTA BASEBALL

On Mar. 3, the Rabbs held off DeKalb to win its first district game of the season with a 5-2 win over the Bears. Peyton Harrison, Eli Dryden and Easton Whatley shared time on the hill and combined for eight strikeouts.

Harrison smacked two singles from the plate, Jaden Riley added a single, Easton Owens had three hits with an RBI, Peyton Gaston posted a single, Cason Whatley hit an RBI single, Eli Mitchell had an RBI, Huntley Fisher recorded two hits with a double and a ribbie, Evan Mitchell added two singles of his own and Brady Partain hit an RBI single.

On Mar. 6-8 the Rabbits competed in the Atlanta/ Winnsboro Tournament.

Game One

In the first game the Rabbits fell to Van 10-7. The Vandals held off a comeback attempt by Atlanta as the Rabbs put up three in the bottom half of the sixth. Easton Owens was raking in this game as he recorded four hits, one double, two homers (a solo shot and a 3-run shot) and four RBIs, Peyton Harrison also hit a 2-run homerun, Jaden Riley added a single, Cason Whatley hit two doubles, Eli Mitchell had two hits, Huntley Fisher smacked two hits with an RBI and Evan Mitchell added a hit.

Game Two

In the second game the Rabbs topped rival Jefferson 5-1. Peyton Harrison hit an RBI single, Easton Owens had a hit, Peyton Gaston had an RBI, Eli Mitchell hit a triple, Brady Partain hit an RBI triple, Huntley Fisher posted a hit and Evan Mitchell had an RBI.

Game Three

In the third game the Rabbs beat Ford 10-2. Atlanta scored nine runs in the first three innings to win the contest.

Evan Mitchell gave up three hits over six and twothirds innings and sat down five batters.

Huntley Fisher, Brady Partain, Cason Whatley and Chris Hale all hit doubles. Peyton Gaston and Mitchell hit triples. Peyton Harrison had two knocks, Easton owens added a single and Eli Mitchell hit a single.
