Atlanta volleyball sweeps Mt. Pleasant

Atlanta’s volleyball program hosted 5A Mt. Pleasant on Aug. 16, and all three Lady Rabbs’ teams won its games over the Lady Tigers.

For the varsity squad, Kaylon “KP” Partain had 33 digs, four aces and five kills, Kym Sheppard added 12 kills and nine blocks, Amaya Williams-Young posted eight kills, Jaliyah Brown had eight kills, Rylie Pattillo recorded 14 assists, Annemarie Hanner added 14 assists and Carlajah Adger had 10 assists.

In the JV matches, Emma Jo McCall had five assists and two kills, Ashlyn Webb had four digs and Kayden Allen posted three kills for the White Team, and for the Maroon Team Aysia Heard had four kills and three blocks, Madison McCoy added 10 assists, Elliana Edwards five assists and Kalissa Reliford 12 digs.

Atlanta’s volleyball program swept Mt. Pleasant last week as the varsity, JV Maroon and JV White teams posted victories.
