Atlanta sweeps Rabbit Pride Relays

Atlanta hosted its inaugural Rabbit Pride Relays Apr. 1, and it did so in fine fashion as the varsity boys, varsity girls, JV boys and JV girls all won titles.

Varsity Boys

The varsity boys’ team racked up 206 points en route to a championship.

Jefferson was second with 146 points, Elysian Fields followed with 109, Bownsboro had 87, Maud 30, McLeod 14 and Clarksville 14.

In the 100m dash Zackyus Jackson placed first at 11.50, La’Randion Dowden was third at 11.75 and Keith Kinney fifth at 12.04; in the 200m dash Matthew Cauley placed second at 23.20 and Kameron George third at 23.43; in the 400m dash Jaquan Robinson placed second at 55.40 and Noah Harris fourth at 57.61; in the 110m hurdles George placed first at 16.40, Stacy Darty fourth at 16.96 and Zachariah Jefferson fifth at 17.98 and in the 300m hurdles Darty placed first at 41.38 and Jefferson sixth at 46.21.

In the 800m run Xzavian Johnson placed first at 2:10.00 and Francisco Sanchez fourth at 2:19.20; in the 1600m run Noah Dowda placed third at 5:04.87 and in the 3200m run Dowda placed third at 10:53.49.

The 4x100m relay team of Caleb Hamilton, Zakyus Jackson, La’Randion Dowden and Kameron Dickerson placed second at 43.92; the 4x200m relay team of Matthew Cauley, Xzavian Johnson, Kameron George and Zakyus Jackson placed first at 1:58.73 and the 4x400m relay team of Jaquan Robinson, Xzavian Johnson, Matthew Cauley and Eli Riojas placed first at 3:30.658.

In the high jump Daimion Collins placed second at 6 feet, 4 inches; in pole vault Hunter Clayton placed first at 12 feet even, Will Porterfield third at 11 feet even and Adrian Kennington fourth at 10 feet even; in shot put Tyrell King placed first at 40 feet, 10 inches and Trey Adams placed third at 39 feet, 10 inches and in discus Adams placed second at 121 feet, 1 inch and Jordan Stiger placed sixth at 116 feet even.

Varsity Girls

The varsity girls’ team rolled to a championship with 189 points, New Diana placed second with 97 points, Jefferson placed third with 83, Brownsboro fourth with 69, Elysian Fields fifth with 40, McLeod sixth with 18 and Bloomburg seventh with 13.

In the 100m dash JD Larry placed first at 13.52 and Kym Sheppard fifth at 13.78; in the 200m dash Jennifer Easter placed third at 28.02 and Sheppard fourth at 28.59; in the 400m dash MaKaylin King placed first at 1:06.40 and Makayla Martin second at 1:06.53; in the 300m hurdles Tianna Lawson placed first at 51.17 and Lauren Booth placed second at 55.84; in the 800m run Kaylon Partain placed first at 2:34.54, AnnMarie Hanner fourth at 2:48.76 and Rylie Patillo fifth at 2:48.85; in the 1600m run Aurelia Giesler placed second at 6:10.70 and Kendall Fant placed fourth at 6:15.30 and in the 3200m run Giesler placed second at 13:41.70 and Fant placed fourth at 14:03.14.

The 4x100m relay team of McKenzie Martin, JD Larry, Jennifer Easter and Tianna Lawson placed first at 51.50 and the 4x200m relay team of the same lineup placed first at 1:51.58.

In the long jump Easter placed second at 15 feet, 3 1/2 inches and Savore Chism placed sixth at 14 feet, 3 inches; in the triple jump Easter placed second at 31 feet, 8 1/4 inches and Partain placed third at 31 feet, 7 1/2 inches; in the high jump Lawson placed third at 5 fete even; in pole vault Aubrey Anthony placed first at 6 feet, 6 inches and in shot put Quen Cook placed second at 33 feet, 9 inches, Keymya Smith fourth at 30 feet, 10 inches and T’Nijah Jackson fifth at 26 feet, 10 1/2 inches.

JV Boys

The JV boys won its championship with 216 points followed by McLeod with 141, New Diana with 77, Jefferson with 73.5, Brownsboro with 40, Elysian Fields with 28.5, Clarksville with 22, Detroit with 11 and Maud with six.

In the 100m dash Dekorian Parker placed first at 11.85, Christian Banks third at 12.20 and Cooper Swanson fourth at 12.22; in the 200m dash JaBranden Wells placed third at 24.90 and Banks placed fourth at 25.12; in the 400m dash Eli Riojas placed first at 55.52, Hudson Hale was second at 56.17 and Daniel Hernandez placed fourth at 57.96; in the 110m hurdles Markavion Owens placed third at 18.55 and Lamdon Liggins placed fourth at 18.81 and in the 300m hurdles Owens placed second at 45.60, Liggins fourth at 47.50 and Carmello Henderson placed sixth at 48.85; in the 800m run Kolton Gonzales placed fourth at 2:20.30 and in the 1600m run Gonzales placed second at 5:28.68.

The 4x100m relay team of Isaiah Chandler, Eli Riojas, Cooper Swanson and JaBranden Wells placed first at 45.528; the 4x200m relay team of Bryce Allen, Clay Fant, Carmello Henderson and Cooper Swanson placed first at 1:35.533 and the 4x400m relay team of Hudson Hale, Chris Swanson, Eli Riojas and Isaiah Chandler placed first at 3:46.711.

In the long jump Dimoree Limbrick placed sixth at 17 feet, 3 inches; in the high jump Limbrick placed second at 5 feet, 6 inches; in the Markavion Owens placed third at 36 feet, 7 inches; in pole vault Chris Swanson placed second at 9 feet even, Josiah Hunt placed third at 8 fete even and Cooper Swanson placed fifth at 8 feet even; in shot Cade Walker placed first at 36 feet, 11 inches, Dekorian Parker second at 36 feet, 6 inches and Michari Banks fourth at 35 feet, 11 inches and in discus Banks placed first at 111 feet even and Johnny McDaniel placed third at 100 feet even.

JV Girls

The JV girls’ team took first place with 107 points, Detroit was second with 104, McLeod third with 74, Clarksville had 59, Brownsboro had 45, Maud had 32, Jefferson had 25 and Bloomburg had 14.

In the 100m dash JaMia Montgomery placed first at 13.75 and Caitlynn Bailey second at 13.85; in the 200m dash Amaya Williams placed sixth at 30.71; in the 400m dash AnnMarie Hanner placed second at 1:12.22; in the 300m hurdles Cara Carnley placed fourth at 1:12.60; the 4x100m relay team of Lakyn Bush, JaMia Montgomery, MaKaylin King and Savore Chism placed first at 52.878 and the 4x200m relay team of Amaya Williams, Lakyn Bush, JaMia Montgomery and MaKaylin King placed first at 1:56.614.

In the long jump Montgomery placed first at 16 feet, 4 inches; in high jump Montgomery placed second at 5 feet even; in pole vault Skye Hooten placed first at 6 feet even and in shot Staci Nelson placed second at 26 feet, 6 inches.
