Atlanta Rabbits’ baseball players earn All-District honors

Atlanta’s baseball team had one of the most successful years since it won state in 1998.

The Rabbits made it to the “Elite 8” or regional finals of the state playoffs this season and garnered plenty of awards on the All-District list.

Junior Cooper McClure was named Defensive MVP and Coach David Hooten was named Coach of the Year.

Seniors Kelby Smith and Randall Mason were named First Team Pitchers, sophomore Nick Burden was named a First Team Outfielder, senior Jackson Warren was named a First Team Utility Player, sophomore Ty Graf was named a Second Team Catcher, junior Kale Carpenter was named a Second Team Outfielder and sophomore Dex Ebarb was named a Second Team Utility Player.

Colin Morris and Brennan Gaston were Honorable Mention players.
