Atlanta’s tennis team

Atlanta’s tennis team traveled to Gladewater for their invitational last week. There were a total of six teams playing and Atlanta brought home the most hardware.

In boys’ singles Atlanta took both first and second between Sam Jones and Micah Lampshire.

Boys’ doubles saw John Hipp and Gage Whatley take first while Landon Moore and Jackson Dillinger placed second.

In girls’ doubles the team of Alex Brown and Jasman Lindley brought home second, and the mixed doubles team of Will Davis and Galexi Jett took second.

Beyond that, watching all the matches, Atlanta showed the most sportsmanship of any team playing, which in itself should be congratulated.
