That’s a wrap

Arguably the most exciting season in Lady Bulldog softball history ended last Saturday with a heartbreaking loss to Mt. Vernon. This year’s team of mostly underclassmen made school history by advancing to the Regional Semifinal round of the Texas State Softball Playoffs.

More than just history though, this group of girls came together as a team and made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

In a society where individual stats and accomplishments seem to take precedence over the TEAM mentality, these ladies celebrated and encouraged each other on and off the field, and it showed in their record. The Lady Bulldog Softball Team was coached this season by Eric Droddy and Jacie Lance and finished the season with a record of 25-9.

Their 14 game win streak fueled the fire of their ever-growing number of fans who are no doubt already looking forward to next year. QC ISD would like to say, “Congratulations, Ladies! We are so proud of you!”
