Vickie Denece (Adams) Jones, born in Gilmer TX on May 27, 1958, passed from this life to the next on June 8, 2025, at her home in Bivins TX. She was 67 years old.

She is preceded in death by husband of 34 years, James Waylon Jones; parents Eugene Victory Adams and Lorena Maye (Roark) Adams; brother Jerry Adams; and brotherin- law William Smith.

She is survived by daughters Stacy Denece Liles and husband Steven of Linden TX, and Stephany Jo Delese and husband Daniel of Linden TX; stepson James Jones Jr and wife Jennifer of Mcleod TX; brother Robert Adams and wife Ann of Gilmer TX; sisters Willie Smith of Marshall TX, Hazel King and husband Jesse of Coalgate OK, and Linda Holland of Coalgate OK; grandchildren Draydon Delese and wife Maegan, Landon Liles and wife Hannah, Emerson Delese, Kason Liles, Aidan Hernandez, Kaitlynn Jones, and Wesley Jones; the father of her daughters, Barry Richardson of Thorndale TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother; you could always find her at any event cheering on her grandchildren. She was a very selfless lady, always thinking of others. Many knew her as Nannaw, and she went out of her way to make sure everyone around her felt loved.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 14 at 3:00 p.m. at New Colony Baptist Church, Linden, TX.
