Opal Pauline Clark Rudel, age 90, of Atlanta, Texas, passed from this life into eternity Thursday, August 19, 2021, at her residence.
Pauline was born December 15, 1930, in Atlanta, Texas, to Clarence and Beatrice Clark. She was retired from Klein ISD but had worked in many of the schools in the Tomball area.
She was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she had attended for the past 34 years.
She will long be remembered as a woman who loved her family, her community, her church and especially her LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Rudel; two sons, Douglas Wayne Rudel and Robert Allen Rudel; and a brother, Ronnie Clark.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Ann Bergt of Atlanta; two sisters, Betty Hightower of Conroe, Texas, Geniece Young of Queen City, Texas; four grandsons, Dusty Rudel and Daniel Preather both of Atlanta, Texas, Allen Rudel of Magnolia, Texas, T.J. Preather of Brenham, Texas; two great-grandsons, Shawn Preather, Carson Rudel; three great-granddaughters, Summer Rudel, Maggie Rudel, Riley Rudel; and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and numerous friends.
Funeral services were at 2 pm, Monday, August 23, 2021, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Pastor Robert W. Hill officiating.
Visitation was Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be in Laws Chapel Cemetery.
