In Loving Memory

A memorial for 20-year-old Garon “Stumpy” Dupree, of Bivins, TX sits at Springbank Park in Doddridge, AR.

The memorial is comprised of two crosses: One wooden cross signed by friends and family and another, smaller cross decorated with fishing lures and tackle as Dupree was an avid bass fisherman.

Stumpy was a member of FBC - Atlanta, was a Troop 47 Eagle Scout and student at East Texas Baptist University.

Dupree was an accomplished young man; a certified welder, auto body technician, and an electrical and instrumentation tech from Texarkana College.

He was near completing his degree in criminal justice and psychology.

Dupree was abundantly loved by his many friends and family and will be greatly missed and remembered for his kindness, compassion and ambition to make the world a better place.
