James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of Lights ...

This is who Harold Harris was to all who were blessed to know him. HE WAS A GIFT!! A gift from above!!

Harold was a gift that kept on giving. Day after day. Year after year Harold remained steadfast and faithful.

His life standards told “his story.” Harold didn’t allow his past to dictate his future. His hard work and determination continued to make his family and workplace proud. Any challenge that came up he pushed right through and accomplished what he set his mind to do.

His life was a life of willingness to give. It showed in his home, his workplace, and his community. It was seen time and time again.

He was the happiest when he was with his family. Some of his treasured moments was time spent riding horses with his son Harold Junior. He also enjoyed time with his other son Darryl. They worked together keeping the horses shod. Playing dominoes and fishing with his wife Yulandera were their favorite pastimes. His daughter CeCe made sure his sweet tooth was satisfied. Baking his favorite treats for him. He also enjoyed working on anything that was broken. He could fix anything. Motors were his specialty. Working on cars, trucks, or 18 wheelers. It didn’t matter what it was he could restore anything. Motorcycles were another hobby he enjoyed. Friends and BBQ was a hit. He was outdoorsman.

Most importantly he loved being a husband, a father, and a friend.

He went to work for the McCoart’s at a very young age. Working for them for over 45 years. His hard work ethic and loyalty would lead him to running Four States Truck Sales solely by himself. He became family.

Harold was “the guy”. The guy you called on when you were in a jam. It didn’t matter if it was great or small. You could count on Harold to take care of it. To get it done. This is who he was. Faithful, loyal, trustworthy, willing, and dependable. He had a servant’s heart. A gift not only in his workplace but a gift to his family, friends, and community. His life shone brightly to all who were blessed to know him.

His absence leaves a huge void because he loved in a huge way. He is and will be greatly missed until we see him again in eternity. Until then, we will cherish every memory he left us with. We will continue to share his story. Especially with his son Harold Junior who will have the opportunity to step onward and upward. Carrying his dad’s legacy forward to the next generation even stronger!
