Gloria Faye Tipton Williamson

Gloria Faye Tipton Williamson, 76, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 3, 2025, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital. Gloria was born January 1, 1949, in Dade City, Florida, to Charles Tipton and Audrey Jump Sisco.

She was retired from Walmart; was a former member of the Backpack Ministry at West Side Baptist Church; and was a Baptist by faith.

Gloria enjoyed all types of gardening, canning, cooking, sewing, crafting, and spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Tipton; mother and step-father, Audrey and Lowell Sisco; grandson, Jonathan Stanton; and her brother-in-law, Larry Williamson.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 54 years, Billy Williamson of Atlanta, Texas; daughters, Tammy Wray and husband Kyle of Anna, Texas, Melinda Adcock of Atlanta, Texas, Donna Williamson of Texarkana, Arkansas, Zoe Williamson of Linden, Texas; brother, John Sisco and wife Debbie of Atlanta, Texas; grandchildren, Matt Wray and wife Amber, Kymberlee Hardy and husband Brian, Taylor Wray and wife Cheyenne, Haleigh Carter and husband Jon, Brianna Adcock, Alexis Adcock; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside services were 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2025, at Smyrna Cemetery, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Jim and Linda Howard officiating.
