Frankie Bridges
Frankie Joe Bridges, age 69, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 13, 2019, at his residence.
Frankie was born December 17, 1949, in Bryan, Texas, to Frank and Carrie Abernathy Bridges.
He was the owner of Landmark Appraisal Service; former branch manager for First Federal Savings of North Texas; and former vice president for First Federal Savings and Loan.
He was a 1968 graduate of Queen City High School; received his Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University; and appraisal training from P.M. Brown, Texarkana.
He was a member of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his son-inlaw, Heath Power; his in-laws, Ray D. and Mona Brown; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Bridges of Texarkana, Texas; three daughters, Robin Bridges of Texarkana, Texas, Shelley Power of Alexandria, Louisiana, Haley Williams and husband Adam of Texarkana, Texas; fur baby, Sophie Loren of Texarkana, Texas; sister, Cathy Wood and husband J.C. of Searcy, Arkansas; six grand dogs, Bing, Max, Trooper, Tanner, Clover and Lucy; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Queen City United Methodist Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Dr. Brad Morgan officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 16, 2019, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be held at Antioch Cemetery.
