Dr. Irwin Boger “Bo” Price IV

June 9, 1984 - April 29, 2021

Dr. Irwin Boger “Bo” Price IV, 36, of Atlanta, Texas was born on June 9, 1984 in Atlanta to Irwin Boger “Bogie” III & Janet Price. He passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021, in Atlanta, Texas.

In his all-too-short life, Bo made many good friends, distinguished himself in his profession, traveled widely, and touched many lives. Although there was more he hoped to do, he accomplished much in his very full life. If one word could describe Bo, it would be dedicated. Dedicated in faith, family, friends, and profession.

Bo attended Atlanta High School, where he earned numerous accolades in both academics and athletics. He was a Top Ten Scholar and a decorated athlete, running cross country and track. He earned all-state, all-region, and all-district honors, claimed individual regional and district titles, and guided the Atlanta Rabbit track team to a 3A state title with a victory in the 3,200 meter and a second place finish in the 1,600 meter. Bo continues to hold the school record of 9:23 in the 3,200-meter run. After high school, Bo attended Baylor University receiving a degree in Medical Humanities. While at Baylor, he was a cross country first team All-Big 12 Conference runner and an Academic All-American. Bo was active in Boy Scouts, earning the rank of Eagle Scout and was inducted into the Order of the Arrow. The Scout Law and Oath taught him to be prepared, love God and country, and initiated a life-long love of wildlife and nature. His favorite place, next to his home and family, was Caddo Lake.

Bo attended medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Worth. In 2015, he completed his Residency with University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Upon completion of medical school, Bo began serving his hometown at Ellington Clinic. He aspired to help “those who had always helped him.” While practicing medicine full-time, he also completed a Fellowship with UAMS in Emergency Medicine in 2018. Bo continued to serve his community at Christus St. Michael--Atlanta as an Emergency Medicine physician. He was always praised for his compassion and dedication to his patients.

Bo married his homecoming queen, Jaci Suzanne Clements, on June 11, 2011. Bo loved to say that he “got married, became a husband, a doctor, and a dad all in the same year.” Bo and Jaci have four beautiful children: Jaxon Khan Price (13), Sophie Kate Price (12), Bennett Issac Price (8), and Hudson Reid Price (3). Bo’s love for his family was evident in his everyday actions, molding them into future runners and scientists. Bo also taught his children the love of Christ. He was an active member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Atlanta.

Bo is survived by his wife, Jaci; children Jaxon, Sophie, Bennett, and Hudson; his parents Janet and Bogie Price; father- and mother-in-law Jay Sterling Clements Jr. and Gina; sister Rebecca Devenport and husband Nick; brother-inlaw Chad Clements and wife Christy; nieces and nephews Avery, Calla, and James Devenport; and Stella, Taylor, and Evan Clements, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Bo was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Geraldine and I.B. “Old” Bogie” Price Jr. and maternal grandparents Eva Nell and Albert Lee Stanley.
