Danny Mason

Daniel Raymond Mason age 73 went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning Oct 15, 2020.

Daniel better known as “Danny“ was born in Miami, Florida on January 17, 1947. He was the first born son of Raymond and Mickey Mason.

He graduated from Atlanta High School in 1965 and then joined and serviced in the United States Air Force until December 1968 when he received an Honorable Discharge.

Danny worked and retired as an inspector at Red River Army Depot. Later on he worked and retired from Atlanta ISD.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two sons, Rob Mason and wife Tammy of Bivins and Ron Mason of Atlanta, TX. Six grandchildren, Alexis Waldum and husband Adam, Brandon Mason, Nicholas Mason, Kolby Mason, John Mason and Chase Calhoun; brothers, Randy Mason and wife Barbara of Atlanta, Mike Mason and wife Patti of Bloomburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and the mother of his children and life-long friend, Jeri Mason.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hanner Funeral Home

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Pine Crest Cemetery with Pastor Paul Murdock officiating.
