Charles Augustus Chamblee

December 6, 1932 - November 23, 2025

Charles Augustus Chamblee, age 92, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord, and his Queen Bea, Sunday, November 23, 2025. He was born December 6, 1932 in Cass County, Texas to Tom and Earline Chamblee. Charles was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church and retired pipefitter from Day and Zimmerman. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed keeping a perfectly manicured yard, and letting you know when yours needed to be mowed. He patrolled the neighborhood on his golf cart, loved working in his shop, and was always ready and able to tell you how to do things the right way.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Chamblee; sister, Bobbie Thomas; brother, Wes Chamblee; and his parents.

He is survived by three sons, Terry Chamblee and wife Debbie of Doddridge, Arkansas, Michael Chamblee and wife Anna of Atlanta, Texas, Daniel Chamblee and wife Karen of Queen City, Texas; daughter, Susie Fant and husband Steve of Queen City, Texas; twelve grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in the Hanner Funeral Service Chapel, with Bro. Josh Lee officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Hanner Funeral Service.
