Bette Jan Carney, born September 13, 1938, in Silsbee, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 21, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. She grew up in Beaumont, Texas, where she graduated from Beaumont High School before attending the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her degree in music and was a proud member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, later remaining active in the ZTA Alumnae Association and the Texas Exes.

Funeral services for Mr. John Paul Russell, 41, of Tyler, Texas were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Pinecrest Baptist Church. Burial followed at Corinth Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There was a time of visitation with family and friends beginning one hour prior to service time at the church.

LEWIS FELIX FRANK March 20, 1951 - April 22, 2026

Lewis Felix Frank passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 75 in Atlanta, Texas with loved ones by his side. Felix was born on March 20, 1951, in Atlanta, Texas. He graduated from Atlanta High School in 1969 and Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He had a long career in the concrete and insurance industries before retiring. He was a lifelong Methodist and was a member of First Methodist and for the last decade Laws Chapel Methodist Church. He loved football, particularly the Texas A&M Aggies and he loved to tell old stories…usually about playing high school football or running around with his childhood friends while growing up in Atlanta. He was an avid reader and was a frequent visitor of the local library. He loved his sons more than anything.
