Early voting for run-off elections begins May 18

Early voting begins Monday, May 18, for the Democratic and Republican run-off elections.

Ballots for the elections can be cast early Monday through Friday. No weekend voting will be held.

Early voting locations and times for Cass County are as follows: Linden – Voting Building, located at 227 East Rush St., from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Hughes Springs – Community Center, located on First Street, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Atlanta – North East Texas Property Management Building, located at the corner of Texas highways 77 and 43, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Anyone who voted by mail in the March Primary Elections and selected the “Annual Application” option will automatically receive a ballot for the primary run-off election.

Residents have until Friday, May 15, to submit an application for ballot by mail if eligible. Those eligible include res- idents who did not vote by mail in the March Primary Elections and are 65 years or older, disabled, or will be out of the county during early voting and on Election Day.

Election Day will be Tuesday, May 26, with voting taking place from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Election Day voting locations are as follows: Linden – Voting Building, located at 227 East Rush St.

Hughes Springs – Community Center, located on First Street.

Atlanta – North East Texas Property Management Building, located at the corner of Texas highways 77 and 43.

Queen City – QC City Hall, 601 Loop 236.
