Burn ban lifted for Cass County

Journal-Sun Report Based on the collaborative decision of the Weather Assessment Committee, the recent burn ban has been lifted.

The committee is comprised of the county judge, Cass County Emergency Management coordinator, and the Texas A&M Forest Service.

The decision came after recent rain received in the county.

The ban is lifted immediately for all unincorporated areas of Cass County.
