Linden-Kildare’s Jamiah Birmingham claimed district titles in the long jump and triple jump. Birmingham won gold in the triple jump last year and at district she set a personal record and new school record with a leap of 39 feet, 1/2 inch.
Devonna Linwood won the discus district title with a toss of 95 feet, 11 inches and she also placed second in shot. Charington Taylor was crowned the district champ in shot with a toss of 33 feet, 1 inch.
Kalysa Roberts placed third in triple jump and advanced to Area.
