Windham awarded position

On March 13, 2026, Linden-Kildare ISD Board of Trustees approved Joel Windham III as the lone finalist for the superintendent position.Windham, a Hughes Spring high school graduate with 26 years in education, was serving as the High School Principal at Jefferson ISD. Following the 21-day period, the board will reconvene to act on Windham’s employment.
