Linden City Council convened

The Linden City Council met on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at 6 p.m. inside the Mary Daughety Senior Citizens Center located at 507 S. Kaufman St., in Linden, Texas.

There were public reports by City Administrator and Department Heads as necessary and also by Linden Mayor Wayne Fitts.

The agenda included:

• Consider and act on minutes from January 12, 2026 regular City Council meeting.

• Consider and act on current bills, bank statements and budget report from City Administrator.

New business included:

• Consider and act on resignation of Councilmember Dowd.

• Consider and act on date for special meeting to appoint Council vacancy.

• Consider and act on Sanitation Solutions rate adjustment.

• Consider and act on Ordinance 2026-2 regulating wastewater service and systems.
