Mary Colleen Ussery

Mary Colleen Ussery, age 97, of McLeod, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born December 19, 1928 in Rochester, Texas to Elige and Elfie Stevens Hatfield. Mary was a member of Good Exchange Baptist Church in McLeod. She married Ralph Andrew Ussery on September 27, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas and they had four children.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ralph Ussery; eight siblings; and her parents.

She is survived by her son, David Ussery and wife Pam of Krugerville, Texas; daughters, Dianne Alexander of McLeod, Texas, Debbie Shelton and husband Timmy of McLeod, Texas, Darlene Anderson and husband Louis of Georgetown, Texas; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Graveside services were 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Visitation were 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Hanner Funeral Service.
