Herndon faces federal charges

J.C. Herndon, 85, of Atlanta is facing federal charges after officials say he was found with child pornography. He was arrested last week on these charges.

The federal charges stem from suspicion the child pornography was being sent from outside of the United States.

Herndon, who was already on probation for two different indecency with a child by exposure charges, is in federal custody and his charges have been filed with the United States Court - Eastern District of Texas. If convicted, Herndon could face up to 10 years in prison.
