Will an Angel get her wings?
We have Angels in our lives and you may not realize until later on in life. I have had many in my life and I would like to tell you about one of them.
Mrs. Ruth Virginia Northcutt. She was a hard-working woman and faithful member of St. Paul CME Church; until her health would not let her be.
I walked to church every Sunday and she would see me pass by through her window. Sometimes after church I would stop by and see her. She was glad to see me. She was glad to see me going to church.
One day I had a disagreement with some of the members of my church and I stopped going to church. Once you take a Sunday off, it turns into three and four.
Mrs. Northcutt came to my house and told me, “Don’t let them folks stop you from serving God”. I was surprised and told her I would go back but I didn’t.
She made another trip to my house to remind me to attend. So, the next Sunday, I was there and stopped by her house after church to see her.
Mrs. Northcutt out lived her family. She lost her daughter, her son and her husband. She bought each one of them a pretty headstone.
Mrs. Northcutt passed away in 2019 and she has not received a headstone yet. If I was able, I would buy her one.
I had to put this out there. Maybe there’s a relative out there that did not know this. God bless the Angels in your life.
