It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas in Cass County
As you venture out this holiday season, you’ll find Christmas spirit shining in every corner of Cass County. In downtown Linden, our Historic Cass County Courthouse grounds are once again home to a towering Christmas tree surrounded by dozens of beautifully decorated trees representing organizations from across the community. This beloved tradition is made possible each year by the Linden Lions Club and the many volunteers who give their time to make it special.
Inside the Cass County Justice Center on Highway 8, you’ll discover even more holiday magic. Each county office contributes its own decorated Christmas tree as we “deck the halls” and transform the central hallway into a cheerful, walk-through display that visitors are sure to enjoy.
The City of Atlanta adds its own charm with a grand Christmas tree and manger scene at the downtown veterans plaza. Garland drapes the streetlights, festive lights line the streets, and Christmas music fills the air—creating a warm and welcoming holiday atmosphere for all who visit. Hughes Springs also shines this time of year, with a lovely Christmas display in the city park and a downtown that feels tailor-made for holiday photos.
And for those who want to enjoy the season outdoors, Atlanta State Park and nearby Daingerfield State Park both offer peaceful scenery accented by their own seasonal decorations.
No matter where you go, Cass County is a wonderful place to celebrate the holidays. May the sights, sounds, and spirit of the season bring joy to you and your family.
