Ryan Nicholas Stephens

Ryan Nicholas Stephens, age 53, of Maud, Texas, passed from this life, November 24, 2025, at his residence. Ryan was born on December 14, 1971, in Oakdale, Louisiana, to Phillip and Rhonda Stephens. He served in the United States Army during Desert Storm and was Catholic by faith. Ryan enjoyed spending time with family, listening to his favorite music from the Dave Matthews Band but he also loved all music from the 70’s era and he loved classic cars.

Ryan was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda Stephens; and two grandchildren, Faith and Noah.

He is survived by his children, Nicholas Stephens and River Stephens both of Copperas Cove, Kansas Demby and husband Dylan of Atlanta, Shadow Stephens and Fiancé Serena Stephens of Georgetown, Isis Stephens of Nash; step-dad, Phillip Stephens of Lake Charles, Louisiana; sisters, Ashley Reed and husband Michael and Rachel Parker both of DeQuincy, Louisiana; the mother of his children, Paula Stephens of Linden, Texas; grandchildren, Serenity, Emma, Eli, Maddison, Everett, Arya, Asher, Liam, Declan, Meadow; and a number of other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service for Ryan will be scheduled at a later date.
