Marietta passes Unborn Ordinance

Last week Marietta became the 84th city in the nation and the 67th city in the State of Texas, to pass a Sanctuary City for the Unborn Ordinance.

In Cass County, Avinger and Douglassville have already done the same. Waskom was the first Sanctuary City for the Unborn by ordinance in America The six provisions put in place were - (1) performing an elective abortion and aiding or abetting elective abortions within the city limits of Marietta, (2) elective abortions on residents of Marietta – regardless of where the abortion takes place, (3) abortion trafficking through the City of Marietta, (4) the mailing of abortion-inducing drugs into the City of Marietta, (5) criminal organizations from doing business inside the city limits of Marietta, and (6) the transportation and disposal of the remains of unborn children who have been killed by an elective abortion across state lines and carried by waste management companies into Texas in and through the City of Marietta.

Information from the six provisions is courtesy of Mark Lee Dickson who is the Founder of Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn.
