Our community is surrounded by natural beauty—fall leaves showing off their colors and crisp, comfortable weather that invites us outdoors. Whether you prefer a peaceful stroll along the trails at Atlanta State Park, the Atlanta Sportsplex, Linden City Park, or an afternoon exploring Daingerfield State Park, this is the perfect season to enjoy the fresh air and the simple joys of East Texas.

The beginning of the holiday season is also a time to pause and appreciate what makes life here so special— our traditions, our small-town charm, and the neighbors who make our communities feel like family. As you’re out and about, be sure to take in the festive sights around the county: the beautiful Christmas tree project on the Linden Courthouse Square led by the Lions Club, the brandnew Festival of Lights in downtown Atlanta, and the creative holiday displays inside the Cass County Justice Center along Highway 8.
