Pumpkin Patch, Fall Festival is back
Since 2008, members of the Atlanta Methodist Church have hosted the annual Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival.
Tons of fun is certain to be had and sweet memories are always made.
This year will be no different. Great opportunities for community outreach and connection as well as family-friendly entertainment that unashamedly boasts the gospel of Jesus Christ, will be provided.
Hundreds of smiling families attended last year’s Fall Festival and members of AMC are excited to see even more this year.
This year AMC combined their Trunk-or-Treat and Fall Festival events, which will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.
There will be fun games, candy-packed trunk-ortreat, amazing food trucks, exciting bounce-houses, and live music at 5 p.m. by AMC’s own Blade Petty.
Entry to the festival is free. Tickets sales for participation in the ever-popular cake walk, face painting, and balloon animals start at $1 per ticket.
AMC is also raffling off a Black Stone grill at $10 per chance and the drawing will be held the evening of the festival.
You do not have to be present to win.
Tickets are available at the Atlanta Methodist Church office or Day School during business hours or at the event.
In addition to their Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat event, every year hundreds of students from local school districts come on field trips to the AMC Pumpkin Patch to participate in fun and interactive learning stations, but most importantly they are presented with the wonderful news of the Gospel.
AMC is excited to announce that this year they will host approximately 375 pre-school children and have classes participating from Atlanta Primary, Queen City Elementary, Bloomburg Primary Schools, Atlanta Methodist Day School and Life Skills classes from Atlanta Primary and Atlanta Elementary Schools.
“We would like to say thank you to the local businesses and families who have partnered with AMC to make this possible through sponsorship of our Pumpkin Patch including StanCo, Terri’s Treasures, King’s Crossing Duplexes, Kelton Home Health, Cass County Fitness, Dairy Queen, Robinson Family Pharmacy, the Sidney Harrist family, the Dean Attaway family and the Ardie Vllasaliu family,” Julia Braun, AMC Director of Children’s Ministries said.
