The Linden Garden Club chose the yard of Tommy O’Rear for its September Yard of the Month.

The Linden Garden Club has selected the yard of Mr. Tommy O’Rear for its September 2025 Yard of the Month Award. Mr. O’Rear’s property is located at 601 North Main Street, Linden, and serves as a beautiful “Welcome” to folks coming into Linden from Highway 8 onto FM 125 (Main Street).
The Yard of the Month Committee presented Mr. O’Rear with an official “Certificate of Recognition” and placed the Club’s official Yard of the Month sign in Mr. O’Rear’s beds of lovely white periwinkles (vinca), which do quite well in the late summer heat.
An award for the month of October will be selected during the first week of October as the committee members search for well-kept yards which help to beautify our community.
