Johnson celebrates 45 years

Pauline Johnson celebrated 45 years with Community Services of Northeast Texas (CSNT) recently.

Johnson has spent her entire career with CSNT in its Head Start Preschool Program. Through decades of dedication, she has been instrumental in kindergarten readiness for thousands of children; some of those children, who have now grown up and returned to the Head Start Preschool Program to work.

Johnson is a mentor to all that cross her path and CSNT is a better place because of her. When she received her 45-year recognition award, Johnson stated that she hopes to teach for many more years. CSNT is excited about this accomplishment and is grateful for Johnson. She is a true asset to their agency.

CSNT is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), private Community Action Agency. CSNT is one of the original Community Action Agencies that were formed as a result of Lyndon Baines Johnson declaring a War on Poverty and signing the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 into law. Since August of 1965, CSNT has fought that war on poverty through empowering individuals and families to become self-reliant.
